Accessibility
How this website supports people using assistive technology.
Draft — pending MCF review.
This statement describes measures verified in the site's source code, not the result of a formal accessibility audit. Last updated: 2026-09-08 (draft, not yet published as final).
Our commitment
Mully College wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or browser zoom/magnification.
What we've verified so far
This is a code-level review, not a full accessibility audit — it confirms specific measures already present, not an overall conformance level.
- Meaningful photographs (staff portraits, campus and student-life photos, gallery images) carry descriptive alt text.
- Purely decorative images — such as the header logo mark, which sits beside the visible "Mully College" text — correctly use empty alt text so screen readers don't announce redundant information.
- The Contact and Application forms use properly associated <label> elements for every field, not placeholder text alone.
- Interactive elements show a visible focus ring when navigated by keyboard, rather than relying on (or removing) the browser's default outline with nothing in its place.
Known limitations
[MCF TO CONFIRM] — no formal WCAG conformance level (e.g. WCAG 2.1 AA) has been tested or claimed for this site. A full audit would need automated scanning plus manual and screen-reader testing that this review did not perform. Until that happens, this statement describes real, verified measures rather than a compliance guarantee.
